SOLUTIONS
The Water Crisis can be SOLVED by all of us. Everyone has a part to play, from the people receiving the aid to the people giving it. Understanding the different solutions that are currently being implemented and the technologies being used help give a more complete picture. However, donations and charity alone, simply won't solve the problem. There must be education implemented so that these solutions can be sustained in hands of the people.
This, we believe, is the true solution.
In most cases, one of these solutions can be implemented, however, in some cases, both will need to be implemented for maximum effectiveness.
How it Works
The Sawyer Filter uses a 0.1 micron hollow MicroFiber Membrane Technology that will allow water, and only water, to pass through the filter. Bacteria, Pathogens, dirt and debris get caught in the fibers, allowing from clean drinkable water.

Disclaimer: This type of technology works for microscopic organisms such as bacteria, cycts and pathogens, however, it may not filter out manmade chemicals, such as certain pesticides or mining runoff, that might be found in certain contaminated water sources. Before using the filter, please check what the contaminates at the water source are and if the 0.1 Micron Sawyer Filtration system will be sufficient.

In order to create a water system that can be sustained, regardless of its size, it is important to remember a few important things:
Not every solution will work, make sure you research the area you are helping to find the best solution
Find a local leader or organization to Help champion the water project. Experience can be helpful
Leave behind any information or instructions that can help support the filter or act as a resource
Follow Up. It's important to make sure that the community and people are using the filters or don't need help
Talk to the people in the area, sometimes you'll learn that your solution isn't THE solution and sometimes they have their own ways.
